At STUDY WITH AK, our foundational philosophy is simple: we do not want your personal data. We are an academic knowledge vault for students, not an advertising broker. We collect only what is mathematically essential to render test papers, track study streaks, and respond to your direct questions. We do NOT track your location, we do NOT sell data, and we do NOT run invasive telemetry.
01. Data Collection Transparency

- Account Credentials: If you voluntarily sign in with Google or Email, we store your email address and display name solely to maintain your verified session.
- Contact Inquiries: When you submit a mentor query form, we receive your name, email, and message to draft an academic response.
- Local Browser Preferences: Your study streaks, dark theme choice, and CBT quiz answers stay entirely on your device inside your browser's private local storage.
🚫 What We NEVER Collect
- No Location / GPS Tracking: We never pinpoint or store your geographical coordinates.
- No Ad Profiling: We do not build behavioral advertising profiles or sell data to third parties.
- No Financial Data: We do not collect credit cards or bank accounts; all study vault papers are free.
- No Device Fingerprinting: No invasive tracking scripts inspecting your hardware or fonts.

03. Form Consents & Granular Opt-Ins
Whenever you submit information on STUDY WITH AK (contact message, community doubt, or newsletter feedback), we require an unambiguous affirmative consent action via an explicit checkbox.
- We do not pre-check consent checkboxes.
- Consent is granular: consenting to send an academic doubt does not opt you into promotional emails.
- You may withdraw your consent at any time by requesting deletion of your contact records.
04. Cookies & Browser Local Storage
We use zero third-party advertising cookies. We only use functional first-party storage keys (e.g. studywithak_streak, studywithak_cookie_consent, studywithak_user) to keep your streak counter active and remember your preferences.

05. Your Rights (Access, Correction & Complete Deletion)
Every user has the absolute right to:
- Right to Access: Inspect all personal data associated with your profile.
- Right to Correction: Update inaccurate name or contact information.
- Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Request instant, irreversible deletion of your profile and submitted inquiries.
- 1-Click Local Data Reset: You can clear all local streaks and cached papers at any moment by clicking the button below or clearing browser cache.
06. Student & Minor Privacy
Because STUDY WITH AK serves secondary and higher-secondary students (Classes 9 to 12 and ITI trades), we maintain heightened safeguards. We do not require real names to browse or download PYQ papers, and we never collect school identity cards or parental financial documents.
